JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Amidhan asserted, the terrorist network not being crushed. Amidhan in a press conference inter-religious leaders in Jakarta on Monday (9/26/2011) claimed almost hopeless and wonder who was responsible for a series of terrorist bombings that continue to occur.

"The government says this action network (Cirebon). Why not crushed," said Amidhan.
He urged the government to pay attention to socio-economic approach in combating terrorism are generally rooted in economic inequality.
There was Father Benny Susetyo of the Bishops' Conference of Indonesia (KWI) said, terrorism grew out of the way of politicizing religion. "Religion should be the inspiration of brotherhood and humanity. The interpretation of religion that is not rooted in Indonesian culture tends to produce increasingly loud and extreme attitudes," said Benny.
According to Benny, the existence of government that is not authoritative and capable of running the country to make terrorism more fertile. "There should be socio-economic approach in the face of terrorism," said Benny.
